BRS Lab Services —
The lab that AILS was built inside.
Dual-licensed accredited microbial testing — Windsor, ON & Canton, MI
Running an accredited cross-border lab on spreadsheets
Before AILS, BRS Lab Services managed chain of custody, certificates of analysis, QMS documentation, and equipment calibration across two accredited facilities in two countries using spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected PDF tools.
Every accreditation audit required manually assembling compliance records. Equipment calibration due dates lived in a shared calendar. COAs were generated in Word templates and emailed as attachments. Every cross-border difference — regulatory jurisdiction, testing standard, reporting format — had to be handled manually, with no system to enforce it.
Built in the lab, deployed in the lab, proven in the lab.
AILS was designed and built directly inside BRSLS operations — not as a product first, but as internal infrastructure. The first COC was processed in the platform in late 2024. By early 2025, all lab operations had migrated: COC intake, COA generation, QMS, equipment management, invoicing, and client portal.
Both facilities. Both regulatory jurisdictions. One platform.

Audit readiness
Always on
5-year immutable audit trail. Accessible in seconds.
Equipment compliance
Zero missed calibrations
Automated scheduling. Overdue alert before the date passes.
“We built AI Lab Services because we ran out of patience with legacy LIMS that cost $50,000 to implement and still required spreadsheets to manage day-to-day operations. Labs shouldn't have to choose between compliance and usability.”
